Gerard Koopmans currently serves as Groepsmanager PEFC bosbeheer at PEFC Nederland since October 2023. With a career spanning several decades, Gerard has held various significant roles, including Senior Projectleider and waarnemend Directeur at Coöperatie Bosgroep Midden Nederland UA since September 1989, Voorzitter College van Deskundigen SKBL at SKBNL since November 2018, and Groepmanager FSC Unie van Bosgroepen since June 2018. Additional management positions include Beheerder / Bedrijfsleider at landgoed Beekzicht (550 ha), Beheerder at Landgoed Prattenburg (440 ha), and Beheerder at Landgoed het Feithenhof (approximately 55 ha). Gerard's early career included a role as Technisch Coordinator / Senior Projectleider at De Bosgroepen and as Districts assistent at Dienst Landelijk Gebied.
