Leyland Jacob Elia is an accomplished product and engineering leader with extensive experience in the startup and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Head of Product & Engineering at Forest (by Clareo) and Clareo, Leyland focuses on driving growth and innovation for clients. As Founder & Managing Partner of IDEAL, Leyland creates new companies through a startup studio. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Invoice2go, where Leyland contributed post-acquisition, and Head of Product & Technology at Bamboo Creative, where key processes for branding and web development were developed. Leyland also led product initiatives at Booklaunch and The Snippet App, resulting in successful launches and user adoption. Early entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding a pioneering coffee business at age seventeen.
