Melissa Shambach is a seasoned analyst with extensive experience in managing teams and projects in high-stakes environments. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst and Sourcing Lead at BMNT since August 2020, Melissa oversees a team of analysts for a major innovation program while acting as the primary liaison for over 400 clients within the Department of Defense, Department of State, and Department of Homeland Security. In addition, Melissa is a NextGen Fellow at Foreign Policy for America and a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, focusing on global leadership. Previous roles include a Security Policy Trainee at NATO and Research Assistant positions at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures and Harvard Kennedy School, where Melissa contributed to significant communication strategies and research initiatives. An active participant in student government during undergraduate studies at the University of Denver, Melissa also completed various internships with prestigious organizations such as the U.S. Department of State and the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
