Michael Gorman is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in business leadership and strategic development. As the Co-Founder of Cascade Reading since January 2020, Gorman promotes the importance of reading for educational success through innovative sentence structure visualization. Gorman has been a Managing Director at Split Rock Partners since 2004, and serves as an investor in several companies, including Flywheel.io and BigCommerce, the latter of which went public in August 2020. Gorman also holds board positions with Gravie, Code 42 Software, HelpSystems, and TruSignal, focusing on technology and data-driven solutions. Additionally, Gorman contributed to public policy as a member of the Governor’s Council on Connected and Automated Vehicles in Minnesota. Gorman's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from Harvard Law School, and a BA from Duke University.
