Austin Schuch is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Flywheel.io since December 2021, Austin has also held positions as Associate Director of Engineering and Backend Engineering Lead at the same company. Prior to this role, Austin was a Technical Lead at Icario and a Senior Software Engineer at Spok. Austin began a career in software engineering at Emerson Process Management as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on full life-cycle development of client/server applications. Academically, Austin earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Dakota State University.
