Sonja McCottry is a certified ophthalmic technician with extensive experience in ophthalmic care and surgical assistance. Currently serving as Technician Lead in the Oculoplastics Division at Moran Eye Center University of Utah since March 2022, Sonja previously held roles at the University of South Florida, Florida Eye Specialist, and Bermuda International Eye Institute, accumulating a wealth of knowledge in specialized testing and patient care for various ophthalmic conditions. Early in the career, Sonja worked as a Sterile Processing Technician at Bermuda Hospitals Board, where responsibilities included managing surgical instruments and communication about surgical procedures. Education was completed in Finland.
