JJ Ackles is currently the CMO at Flipside Crypto. Prior to this, they were with Long Game from January 2017 to August 2021, where they were also the CMO. JJ was responsible for all aspects of brand and growth at the consumer fintech start-up. Before that, they were a Marketing Consultant with Texture by Next Issue from March 2016 to February 2017. There, they drove digital strategies for the media start-up, which was acquired by Apple. JJ also created compelling online and on-air consumer acquisition campaigns. From January 2009 to December 2013, JJ Ackles worked as the Senior Manager Online Marketing with Netflix. Their responsibilities there included go-to-market strategies for international service expansions into Latin America/Brazil, Canada, UK and Nordics. JJ also supported the launches of the first Netflix original series. Prior to Netflix, JJ Ackles worked as Online Marketing with Blue Nile from January 2002 to December 2006.
JJ Ackles’ educational career began with him obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Vassar College. JJ then went on to pursue a career in acting, which they are currently doing.
JJ Ackles reports to Dave Balter, CEO. They are on a team with Jim Myers - Founder & CTO, Howard Kogan - COO, and Mike Featherstone - CFO.
