Penelope Day has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Penelope began their career in 2004 at Swissport as an Aircraft Dispatcher, where they coordinated safe departures, arrivals, and turnarounds of aircraft. Penelope ensured all services had the necessary information and documentation for their roles. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Aircraft Ramp Allocator, where they allocated baggage handlers to aircraft based on the specific requirements of each aircraft type. Penelope prioritized work flow and maintained a high level of communication. In 2014, Penelope joined Airline Services Group as an Aircraft Dispatcher and Load Controller, responsible for dispatching and controlling aircraft loads. Finally, in 2018, they joined Flight Calibration Services Limited as an Operations Planning Manager, where they played a crucial role in the planning and management of operations. In 2021, they assumed the position of Acting Head of Ground Operations before their departure in 2022.
