Elric Kline

Senior Vice President of Business Intelligence at Five Iron Golf

Elric Kline has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Elric is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Business Intelligence at Five Iron Golf since 2022. Prior to this role, they held multiple positions at Brooklyn Boulders from 2016 to 2022, including Chief Information Officer, Director of Data Science & Engineering, Data Science Manager, and Training Manager.

Before joining Brooklyn Boulders, Elric worked at the Public Employees Federation of New York from 2013 to 2016 as an Organizer. In this role, they overhauled the COPE program, implemented a Political Action Committee training program, and managed internal and external organizing efforts for the eastern New York region.

From 2011 to 2013, Elric worked as a Political Organizer at the Working Families Party. Their responsibilities included training progressive grassroots candidates, leading issue campaigns, and building coalitions for progressive political victories in New York State and nationally.

Elric also worked for the Cecilia Tkaczyk for NY State Senate campaign in 2012 as a Field Director. In this role, they managed a large field operation and implemented training programs for paid canvassers and volunteers.

Earlier in their career, Elric worked at Rutgers University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2006 to 2010. Elric taught English and Political Science courses, provided writing instruction, and received pedagogical training.

Additionally, Elric served as the Chair of the Graduate Employees Steering Committee at Rutgers University AAUP-AFT from 2006 to 2010. In this role, they initiated and organized a bargaining unit, led internal organizing efforts, and oversaw political education initiatives.

Elric Kline has an extensive educational background. Elric began their education at Moravian University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy & Mathematics, completing the program from 1998 to 2001. Elric then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science at Lehigh University, from 2002 to 2004. Afterward, Elric Kline attended Rutgers University, where they engaged in doctoral studies and obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) A.B.D. in Political Science, starting in 2004 and concluding in 2010. Later in their career, in 2021, Elric Kline enrolled in the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they earned a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General, for the duration of a single year.
