Alana Manning has been working in the customer support and marketing industry since 2021, when they began their current role as a Customer Support & Marketing Specialist at Fitbod. In 2021, they also began a mentorship program with Us In Technology, a DEI Community committed to diversifying the Technology industry. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator - Educational Equity at Abl, where they wrote call scripts and copy to engage school district leaders, earned the #1 SQL acceptance rate on the MDR team, and planned and executed drip campaigns for warm marketing leads. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Teaching Aide at Stockton Educational Center, where they delivered educational interventions and reinforced lessons from IEP assessments. During 2018, they also worked as a Communication and Outreach Associate at Fathers & Families of San Joaquin, where they created an annual outreach plan to increase first time clients and recruited and trained new volunteers for the agency. From 2017 to 2014, they worked at University of the Pacific in two roles: a \"Community Involvement Program\" Program Assistant & Outreach Coordinator, and an ASuop Arts & Entertainment. In 2015, they worked as a Property Management Intern at Visionary Home Builders of CA, Inc., where they audited tenant files and analyzed and evaluated monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Alana Manning holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of the Pacific. Alana has also obtained two additional certifications, a Social Media Marketing Foundations certification from LinkedIn in September 2020 and a Hubspot Agency Partner Certification from HubSpot in April 2020.
