Jada Elam has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jada is currently working as an Accounts and Marketing Director at First Choice Nurses, where they manage accounts and oversees the marketing efforts. Prior to this, they worked as a Payroll Specialist at the same company.

Before joining First Choice Nurses, Jada founded and operated their own business called Green Line Planner, where they worked as a Budget Coach. Jada provided coaching services to young professionals on building customized budgets and handled tasks such as website design, graphics, marketing campaigns, and lead tracking systems.

Jada also has experience in the field of human resources payroll, having worked at Town Center Cold Pressed. Jada served as a Human Resources Payroll professional for a period of time.

During their time at UCSD - Black Student Union Organization, Jada held the position of Finance Director. Jada was responsible for sourcing funding for on-campus events, creating budgets, liaising with various departments, and developing sponsor and partner relationships. Jada also worked as an Accounting Assistant and Cashier at the University of California San Diego.

Jada's work experience also includes a role in Business Development at DiversyFund, Inc.

Additionally, they served as a Student Success Leader at the UCSD Black Resource Center, where they curated and hosted events for students, managed budgets, and built strong relationships with student organizations and resource centers.

Early in their career, Jada worked as a Team Member at Jamba and as a Game Master at Ultrazone Laser Tag. Jada also served as a Family Planning Community Health Worker at Valley Community Healthcare.

Jada has demonstrated a strong skill set in finance, budgeting, marketing, event management, and customer service throughout their various roles.

Jada Elam studied at UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021, majoring in International Business with a focus on Accounting.
