Grant Baker has worked as a Financial Security Advisor at Grand River Financial Solutions from February 2013 to December 2018. Grant then joined Canada Life as a Business Development Advisor in December 2018 and held that role until August 2023. In August 2023, they started working as a Sales Director for Kitchener/London at Financial Horizons.

Grant Baker attended Everest College, Barrie Campus from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Addictions Counselling. Grant studied Addictions and Community Service Work during their time at the college.
