Alexander Bielefeld is a seasoned professional in global policy and strategic relations, currently serving as the Director of Global Policy & Strategic Relations at FIFPRO since September 2018, previously holding positions as Head and Senior Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes a managerial role in Strategic Communications and Policy at Burson-Marsteller Sport, alongside various managerial and associate roles within Burson-Marsteller's EMEA Sports Practice. Alexander has also worked with the Deutscher Bundestag's Sports Committee and the European Commission's Directorate-General Education and Culture. An alumnus of INSEAD, Alexander holds multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive Master of Sport Governance from Le Centre pour le droit et d'économie du sport, a Master of Arts in EU International Relations & Diplomacy from the College of Europe, and a Master's in International Sport Policy from the University of Brighton, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Economics from the University of Münster.
