Ivan Mathews has a diverse work experience, spanning across different roles and companies. Ivan began their career as a Summer Intern at Great Eastern Life in 2012. Ivan then joined ExxonMobil in 2013 as an Intern in Asia Pacific Supply Operations. Ivan continued working at ExxonMobil and took on various roles, including Supply Logistics Coordinator in Asia Pacific Supply Operations from 2014 to 2016, Process Engineer at the Pulau Ayer Chawan Refinery from 2016 to 2018, and Planning and Strategy Analyst from 2018 to 2021. Ivan also served as a Marine Fuels Purchasing Negotiator from 2021 to 2021. Ivan's most recent position was Head of Asia Refining and Global Fuel Oil Service at FGE, starting in January 2022.

Ivan Mathews pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, completing it between 2010 and 2014.
