Gonçalo Cruz has a diverse work experience with a focus on entrepreneurship and advisory roles. In 2015, they co-founded PLATFORME and served as the CEO. Gonçalo went on to co-found Skinvaders, DDIGITT, and Fashable in 2020 and 2022 respectively. Additionally, they acted as an advisor and non-executive board member for companies such as Didimo and MOXY, where they were also a co-founder. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Cruz worked as the Managing Director for Groupon Portugal and as a General Partner for Jump Willy. Gonçalo also co-founded WCFM and served on the Board of Directors for ADDICT, an agency promoting the creative industries.

Gonçalo Cruz completed their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto from 2000 to 2007. Gonçalo then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Literary, Cultural, and Interart Studies, with a focus on literatures in Portuguese, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto from 2011 to 2013. In 2004, they participated as an exchange student at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, studying Production Engineering for a year.
