Matthew Aycock has extensive work experience in software development. Matthew started their career as an intern at Fujitsu Network Communications in 1995. From 1997 to 2010, they worked at Intelligent Information Systems, Inc. in roles ranging from Junior Software Developer to Software Developer. In 2010, they joined Farragut Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer. At Farragut Systems, they provided leadership and support for the development of Spectrum, an enterprise software system for workers compensation policy data analysis. Their experience includes business analysis, client engagement, coding, implementation, and post-production support.

Matthew Aycock attended North Carolina State University from 1992 to 1997, where they studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. Their coursework covered various subjects such as Computers, Logic and Design, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, Programming, Physics, and Math. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Python Network Programmability: Scaling Scripts," "Learning REST APIs," and "Learning GitHub," all from LinkedIn.
