Alan Brown is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Engineer at Shetland Islands Council since March 2002, Alan has previously held positions as Engineering Chargehand within the same organization. Prior to this, Alan worked as a Marine Engineer at Malakoff & Wm. Moore from April 1988 to March 2002. Alan's educational background includes studies at UHI Shetland and Motherwell Technical College from 1981 to 1984, as well as attending Claremont High School in East Kilbride from 1976 to 1981.
