Katanya Weaver is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a diverse professional background, currently serving at Family Tree since January 2021, where responsibilities include administering COVID vaccines and providing education in alignment with CDC guidelines. In addition to this role, Katanya has been with Circle the City since June 2021, contributing to the care of homeless individuals through clinical decision-making and patient triage. Prior experience includes serving as a Nurse Educator at Lash Group, where Katanya focused on client education and reporting adverse events, and roles as Charge Nurse at Oasis Hospital and Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU at Barrow Neurological Institute. Earlier career experience includes providing nursing care at Kindred Healthcare and medical assisting at SSM Health. Katanya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri St Louis, earned between 2011 and 2014.
