Ernest Adzim is an experienced Tree Crops & Environment Specialist at MEDA, focusing on environmental project planning and the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices since August 2016. In a dual role at Fairtrade International, Ernest has provided advisory services on certification and market access for sustainable production since May 2008, and supported small farmer organizations and plantation workers in Anglophone West Africa. Previously, Ernest served as the Regional Cocoa Manager for Fairtrade Africa, leading the West Africa Cocoa program from January 2016 to August 2017. Educational achievements include a Master of Philosophy in the Use of Municipal Compost as Soil Amendment and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Rural Development, both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
