Sissel Trygstad is a researcher and research director at Fafo, Institute for Labour and Social Research, where contributions have been made since 2007. Sissel holds a Dr. polit degree in Sociology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), obtained between 1999 and 2004. The doctoral thesis is titled "Fra rettighet til nytte? Det kommun."
