Iain Halliday is an Advocate at the Faculty of Advocates since October 2021, where Iain is also a Devil under the mentorship of David Massaro, Tim Haddow, and Janice Green. Iain has been an Author for the Free Movement blog since November 2017, providing insights on immigration law. Iain served as a Welfare Rights Officer at the Citizens Rights Project from December 2021 to March 2022, focusing on support for EU citizens in Scotland. Prior experience includes being an Associate at McGill & Co from October 2014 to August 2021, assisting with immigration and nationality applications and conducting appeal hearings. Iain's education includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen, along with an Integrated Erasmus Year at the University of Helsinki.
