Jose Mario Lopez Cuevas has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2015, they started as a Web Developer Intern at Tharix. Jose Mario then worked as a Full Stack Developer at Geducar from November 2018 to October 2019. In 2019, they joined Cognits as a Senior Developer until April 2020. Jose Mario further worked as a Cloud and Data Architect at Conduent from May 2020 to June 2021. From March 2016 to January 2022, they served as a Full Stack Developer at Polar Advisors. Their most recent position was as a Data Engineer at HealthCare.com from July 2021 to January 2023, where they were responsible for ETL design, implementation, and orchestration, data infrastructure maintenance and implementation, and PII/PHI security and strategy design and implementation. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer at Factored, starting from February 2023.

Jose Mario Lopez Cuevas completed their undergraduate education from 2014 to 2018 at Universidad Mariano Gálvez, where they obtained a degree in Information systems and computer science with a specialization in Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained several additional certifications, including a Data Architect Nanodegree from Udacity in May 2022, an Astronomer Certification in DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow from Astronomer in January 2022, a JSNAD certification in OpenJS Node.js Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in November 2021, and a Data Engineering Nanodegree from Udacity in October 2021. In 2020, they achieved several Microsoft certifications, including Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals, and Azure Fundamentals. In 2019, they completed the DSE200x course in Python for Data Science from edX. Jose Mario also holds certifications in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in July 2020, and various other certifications related to web development and software architecture.
