Amin Ajdari, PhD, PE has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Amin is currently serving as a Managing Engineer at Exponent since March 2022, and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Engineer at the same company from August 2018 to March 2022.
Before joining Exponent, Amin worked as a Consultant at Kadho Inc. from October 2016 to December 2019. Amin then transitioned to Johnson & Johnson, where they served as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer from April 2017 to August 2018.
Prior to their tenure at Johnson & Johnson, Amin worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Current, powered by GE from October 2015 to April 2017. Amin also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Technical Leader at General Electric Energy Storage from April 2014 to October 2015.
In terms of academic research, Amin served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from September 2012 to September 2014. Amin also worked as a Research Affiliate at MIT from June 2012 to September 2013 and as a SHAPIRO Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT from February 2012 to May 2012. Amin Ajdari, PhD, PE has an impressive education history in the field of mechanical engineering. Amin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Tehran, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, studying from 2006 to 2008. Amin furthered their education with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012.
In addition to their academic achievements, Amin Ajdari has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2008, they completed the "Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian Analysis with Abaqus/Explicit" certification from SIMULIA Eastern Region Office. Amin then obtained the "Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)" certification from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in November 2014. Most recently, in January 2015, they achieved the "Green Belt SixSigma" certification from GE Power & Water. These certifications demonstrate their dedication to continuously improving their expertise in the field of mechanical engineering.
