Federico Fernández Niello has diverse work experience in the energy industry. Federico started their career as a GNC Market Analyst at Camuzzi Gas Pampeana/Camuzzi Gas del Sur in 2006, where they supervised natural gas contracts and represented clients in the Electronic Gas Market. Federico then moved on to Endesa, where they worked as a Latin America Regulatory Analyst and later as an Analyst involved in the commercialization of fuels and the development of new natural gas and oil businesses. In 2013, Fernández Niello joined Enel as a Renewable & Conventional Energy Regulation Specialist, participating in thermal energy tenders, analyzing renewable energy projects, and preparing regulatory proposals. Federico also worked on regulatory projects and estimated revenue for Enel's companies. Following this, they worked at BAF Capital AG as a Project Manager, evaluating energy and infrastructure projects and interacting with banks to optimize financing. Since 2015, Fernández Niello has been a Professor of Formulation and Evaluation of Projects at Universidad Nacional de San MartÃn (UNSAM), where they teach and develops course materials. Currently, they are serving as the South America Director - Gas Marketing Development and the Gas Marketing Regional Manager at Excelerate Energy.
Federico Fernández Niello obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, completing their studies from 2001 to 2008. Federico then pursued a specialization in Oil and Natural Gas Economics at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 2008 to 2009. Later on, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella from 2014 to 2015.
