Sofía Matamala has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Sofía currently holds the roles of Health Lead and Lead Nurse at Examedi. Prior to this, they worked as a Nurse at Clínica Alemana de Santiago for three months in 2021. Sofía also worked as a Nurse at Ministerio de Salud for a month in 2021. In 2020, they served as an Intern Nurse at Instituto Nacional del Tórax for two months and as an Intern Nurse at Cesfam Felix de Amesti for two months.

Sofía Matamala studied Nursing at Universidad de los Andes (CL) from 2015 to 2021, earning a degree in Nursing. Additionally, they pursued a specialization in Adult Nursing Services at the same university starting in 2016.
