Karen Watkins, PharmD, BCOP, currently serves as the Director of Medical Affairs at Coeus Consulting Group since October 2020, where responsibilities include planning, developing, and communicating clinical and economic evidence to support product value, market access, and quality of care. Previously, Karen worked at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. as Senior Manager of Medical Affairs, focusing on managed care pharmacy, leading a pipeline tracking team, and collaborating with HEOR to assess budget impacts of pipeline agents. Earlier experience includes serving as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, gaining expertise in oncology pharmacy within an ambulatory breast cancer clinic, and completing a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at VCU Health System. Educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia.
