Operations and Business Development Specialist at Evolectric

Erich Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to 2022. Erich is currently working at Evolectric as an Operations and Business Development Specialist, overseeing the development and operation of Supply Chain and Parts Inventory Tracking Systems, as well as managing logistics with domestic and international OEM parts suppliers.

Prior to Evolectric, Erich worked at Komatsu Forklift of Southern California starting in 2013. Erich held multiple roles including Service Writer, Parts Clerk, Trainer, CSSR, and Billing Coordinator. In these roles, they generated, submitted, and tracked service quotes, facilitated repairs by coordinating parts ordering and scheduling, and provided guidance to customers through the quoting process.

Before that, Erich worked remotely as a Production Artist at Franchise Update Media, where they created and managed materials for conventions, including proof review and file/database management.

Prior to their work in admissions, Erich served as a Military Admissions Counselor/Team Lead at the University of Arizona Global Campus, advising active duty military, veterans, and spouses on undergraduate programs and managing student files.

Erich's early work experience includes serving in the US Navy as a Gunnermate 2nd Class E-5. Erich worked as a Weapons Training Center Instructor, training personnel in small boat tactics, rules of engagement, and weapons deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism.

Erich Schmidt obtained an MBA in Business Administration from The University of Arizona Global Campus from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Marketing from the University of Phoenix. In 2003, Erich attended the Naval Vertical Launch Technician "C" School, which was a technical training program. In 2002, they attended the Naval Gunnersmate "A" School, another technical training program. In 2001, Erich completed the Search and Rescue Surface Swimmer program while serving in the US Navy. Additionally, in 2018, Erich obtained certification as an OSHA Forklift Trainer from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
