Aneesh Sharma has a diverse work experience, beginning with an Industrial Engineering Internship at Arcelor Mittal, Kazakhstan in 2008. Following this, they were a Research Intern at ICCL (Information Cryptology & Construction Lab) in 2009. In the same year, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher at LNMIIT, where their thesis was titled "Background Modeling Using Pan-Tilt Camera". From 2010-2016, they were a Research Project Lead at CISCOR (Center for Intelligent Systems, Control and Robotics), Florida State University, where they were the lead developer of the motion planning module for the robotic platform, and led several IRA (Integrated Research Assessments). Aneesh also collaborated with other teams, such as Vision (3D lidar) and Control systems, and was in charge of testing and benchmarking the performance of the motion planning module. In 2016, they became a Research Scientist at UC Berkeley College of Engineering. From 2017-2019, they were a Senior Technical Advisor and Chief Technology Officer at BrainChild Innovation LLC. During this time, they also held the role of Head Of Engineering at EverestLabs.AI. In 2020, they became a Research Scientist at Waymo.
Aneesh Sharma has a comprehensive education history. Aneesh obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Communication and Computer Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology in 2010. Aneesh then went on to pursue a MS in Computer Science from Florida State University, which they completed in 2011.
