Venkanna Cherukuri has over 20 years of work experience at Digital River. Venkanna started as a Software Engineer in 1999 and gradually moved up the ranks. As an Engineering Manager, they led various teams and was responsible for the development of the Atlantic System, Global Commerce Payments team, and DR World Payments team. Venkanna also took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and worked on technical development for these projects. In 2012, they became a Senior Manager of Engineering, overseeing the delivery of payment methods for Samsung clients and building an offshore team in India. In 2017, they became the Director of Engineering and has been recognized for their leadership in delivering enterprise software solutions and modernizing payment offerings.

Venkanna Cherukuri holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Master of Engineering degree from Andhra University.
