Roeland Lacroix has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Roeland started their career as an Analyst-programmer at CTG NV from October 1997 to December 1999. Roeland then joined AE nv/sa as a Project Manager, where they handled project management, methodology consulting, and account management from January 2000 to May 2006. Following that, they served as an IT Project Manager at the Council of the European Union from June 2006 to November 2013. Roeland then moved to the European External Action Service, where they held various roles. Roeland first served as the Head of Operations Section from December 2013 to December 2018. Later, they became the Deputy Head of Division, supporting the Head of Division in managing the Secure Communications Division, including the EEAS Communications Centre and EEAS Central Registry, from August 2018 to August 2022. Currently, Roeland is the Head of Secure Communications Division at the European External Action Service.
Roeland Lacroix obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from UHasselt, where they studied from 1992 to 1997.
