Alain Delorme is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contract management and procurement. Currently serving as a Senior Contract Officer at the European Southern Observatory since August 2010, Alain has previously held positions as a Contract Officer and then Commercial & Legal Officer at OCCAR from May 2006 to July 2010, and as a Buyer at DGA (Procurement Agency of the French Ministry of Defense) from December 2002 to April 2006. Alain's career began in retail, culminating in roles such as International Purchasing Manager at SCA Maison and Head of Department at Majid Al Futtain LLC. Educated at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Post-graduate Degree in International Trade and at the University Paris Sorbonne with a Master's Degree in Economics & International Trade, Alain combines a strong academic foundation with practical expertise in the field.
