Lukas Koester is an accomplished researcher in the field of renewable energy, currently serving as a Post Doc Researcher at Eurac Research's photovoltaic energy system group since June 2019, where the focus is on the performance and reliability of photovoltaic (PV) modules utilizing luminescence inspection techniques. Lukas is simultaneously pursuing a PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology, concentrating on the correlation of multispectral imaging signatures of PV failures with electrical signatures. Prior experience includes roles as a Physics student at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, a Bachelor-Student conducting a thesis on high harmonic X-ray generation at Forschungszentrum Jülich, a Pricing Analyst at 3M, and a Nursing student at Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf, demonstrating a diverse academic and professional background.
