Selena Yang is a highly experienced Lead ML Engineer at Etsy since April 2021, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to Etsy, Selena worked at Citadel as a Senior Software Engineer on the Research and Modelling team, focusing on innovative insights from alternative datasets. Selena also held the position of Lead Data Engineer, managing consumer alternative datasets and mentoring junior team members. At Google, Selena was involved in the Ranking Team within the Search Division and started the career at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer on the Border Gateway Protocol Team. Earlier, Selena contributed as a Fullstack Software Engineer at Analytics Media Group and worked as a Research Associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Selena holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a B.A. in Physics from Columbia University.
