Areum Hong is a Senior Researcher at ETRI, a position held since March 2020, following an appointment as an Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP) from September 2019 to February 2020. Areum completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Business and Technology Management at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2019, after earning a Master of Science in the same field in 2015. Areum holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from the same institution, completed in 2013.
