Dr. Biplab Sarkar is a Senior Simulation Specialist at Nokia since June 2016, focusing on simulation tools for 6G mobile networks. Previous roles at Nokia include Technical Specialist and Technical Lead, where Dr. Sarkar developed platform software for the CBRS Domain Proxy and contributed to the Airphone 5G simulator. Before joining Nokia, Dr. Sarkar worked as a Software Engineer at Murmuration Solutions Pvt Ltd, a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, and held various technical positions at Starent Networks and Motorola India Electronics. Dr. Sarkar holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Design from the Indian Institute of Science and multiple degrees in Computer Science and Electronics from prestigious institutions, highlighting a strong educational background.
