Christian Romming has extensive work experience in the software engineering and data analytics fields. Christian began their career in 2005 as a Systems Developer Internship at Accenture ANS in Norway. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Avago Technologies in San Jose, CA, developing algorithms in the field of signal processing and image compensation. Christian also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the graduate-level course CS348A - Computational Graphics at Stanford University that same year. In 2007, they joined Trovix as a Software Engineer, developing search technology for Trovix' semantic search engine, implementing data mining algorithms, and developing a scalable architecture for the search engine. Trovix was acquired by Monter Worldwide in July 2008. From 2009 to 2013, they served as CTO at VigLink, an ad-tech company that helps web publishers monetize their content. Christian built the company's engineering team, scaled the infrastructure to handle hundreds of millions of daily API requests, and worked with data scientists to implement statistical modeling systems at a large scale. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of Etleap, a company that builds tools to make data analytics teams more productive.
Christian Romming received their MEng in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in 2005, and their MS in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2007.
