Nicholas DeLuca, PE, is a Senior Associate at ME Engineers, where responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for various commercial buildings, as well as refining new construction designs for cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency through energy modeling. Previous experience includes roles as a Global Technology Integration & Development Intern at LP Amina, where Nicholas designed and analyzed SCR systems for gas-fired power plants, and as a Marine Engineer at Gibbs & Cox, Inc., leading the HVAC design for the DDG-51 Flight III. Nicholas began their career as an Engineering Technician at Combustion Science & Engineering, Inc., focusing on combustion characteristics of JP-8 jet fuel. Educational qualifications include a Bachelorā€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Masterā€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering.
