Johnathan Lowery currently serves as the Assistant Band Director at Ethical Culture Fieldston School since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Piano and Saxophone Instructor at New York University from September 2017 to June 2019, and Head of Instrumental Music at The Mandell School from September 2013 to June 2017. Johnathan has also instructed Jazz Saxophone and Clarinet at EASTERN US MUSIC CAMP INC from July 2008 to July 2016, performed as a woodwinds musician for Big League Productions, Inc. from September 2012 to July 2013, and toured as a saxophonist in the European tour of Grease das Musical from November 2011 to July 2012. Johnathan holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz/Jazz Studies from New York University (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Music degree in the same field from the Eastman School of Music (2006-2010).
