Patrice Bessac currently serves as Président of Est Ensemble since July 2020 and has been the Maire de la ville de Montreuil since April 2014. Bessac held the position of President of the Association Nationale des Elus Communistes et Républicains (ANECR) from November 2016 to 2020 and was a Conseiller régional d'Ile-de-France for the PCF-Front de gauche from 2004 to December 2015.
