Tom Sperry is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Controller for Consumer (CPG), Digital, and Consolidations at Essity, a role held since 2008. Responsibilities include overseeing financial practices for Retail, Digital, and Alternative businesses in the USA and Canada, as well as enhancing staff capabilities and influencing financial teams related to trade optimization and shared services. Prior to joining Essity, Tom Sperry held various positions at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company from 1996 to 2008, including Controller for North America Retail and Controller for US Healthcare, Home Care, and Retail Channels. Early in the career, Tom Sperry worked at American Water Works Corporation as a Corporate Accountant and Internal Auditor and at East Coast Growers as an Accountant and Management professional. Tom Sperry holds an MBA from La Salle University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting and Computer Science from Delaware Valley University.
