Anne Pearson currently serves as the Chief of Corporate Affairs at Essential Energy since October 2022. With extensive experience in the energy and regulatory sectors, previous roles include Head of Reputation at EnergyAustralia, Acting Executive Manager at WaterNSW, and Chief Executive of the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) from 2007 to 2019. During tenure at AEMC, significant accomplishments included enhancing operational credibility and developing stakeholder engagement strategies. Earlier roles included regulatory strategy management at EnergyAustralia and corporate law at Herbert Smith Freehills. Academic qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, alongside completion of the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
