Jørgen Hemnes is a highly experienced professional in the field of engineering with a focus on reservoir and geotechnical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Equinor since December 2022, Hemnes previously held the position of Geotechnical Engineer at Sweco from November 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included project leadership and site investigations. Prior work experience includes roles as a Reservoir Engineer at Equinor, temporary teacher at Inderøy Kommune, teaching assistant at Utøy Barneskole, and an engineering intern at Lundin Norway AS. Hemnes holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, complemented by studies at Delft University of Technology.
