Andrew Parrish is an experienced Regional Planning Manager at Environment Canterbury, a position held since March 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of regulatory frameworks aimed at improving water quality in regional rivers and facilitating community-based discussions through zone committees. Prior to this role, Andrew served as Team Leader Planning, focusing on the implementation of the Regional Policy Statement and the development of the Canterbury Regional Air Plan. Andrew's earlier experience includes positions as Principal Planner at Hurunui District Council and Policy Planner at Ruapehu District Council. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Canterbury, completed between 2001 and 2004.
