Ping Wee has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. They started their career in 2009 as a Regulatory Assistant Co-op at Health Canada | Santé Canada. Later that year, they worked as a Clinical Trials Research Assistant Co-op at St. Michael's Hospital, where they provided research and data management support for large clinical trials.
In 2012, Ping Wee joined the University of Alberta as a Ph.D. candidate and continued their studies until 2017. During this time, they gained valuable research experience in their field of study.
In 2015, Ping Wee took on the role of a University Representative at Cytiva, where they represented the university and its research capabilities.
