David holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of California Irvine.

David has expertise in additive manufacturing and impact mitigation technologies. His Ph.D. research used Python to automate quasi-static and dynamic finite element analyses of additively manufactured structures.
