Cesar Zapata has a solid work experience in the software engineering field. Cesar started their career as an independent software developer, where they gained valuable experience in Visual Basic development. Later, they co-founded an English school and worked in various roles including English teacher, coordinator, administrator, and in marketing and publicity.

In their professional career, Cesar has worked in reputable companies such as Catch UP Language Expertise, ASF Technology, RMC Brothers, and LinearCode, where they served as a full-stack web developer. Cesar then worked at BRQ as a software engineer, handling different projects with various technologies. At UOL - Universo Online, they served as a software engineer DevOps, specializing in quality assurance, automation, and continuous integration. Cesar gained expertise in technologies such as Mesos, OpenStack, Docker, Jenkins, and various programming languages.

Cesar also worked as a software engineer at Blis, specializing in back-end development. Their most recent role was as a software engineer at Lloyds Banking Group and currently at Amido. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in working with technologies such as Java, Spring MVC, Apache Camel, NodeJS, Express JS, and Oracle databases, among others.

Cesar Zapata earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo between the years 2007 and 2011. In addition, they obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) – the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in June 2020 and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate in April 2020.
