Jay Valdillez is a seasoned software engineer with experience spanning several notable companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Enova International since January 2022, Jay previously held the position of Software Engineer at Azul 3D, Inc. from August 2018 to January 2022. Jay’s early career included a Technology Development Program Internship at Optum - UnitedHealth Group in mid-2017, where significant contributions included spearheading the Apache Drill Pilot program and optimizing query plans for big data analytics. Additionally, Jay interned at Lockheed Martin in early 2014, developing a data parsing tool and enhancing skills in Visual Basic. Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University, completed in 2018.
