Laura Gent is a dedicated physiotherapist with extensive experience in both performing arts and sports medicine. Currently serving as Company Physiotherapist for Birmingham Royal Ballet and England Athletics Physiotherapist, Laura provides essential event day physiotherapy to athletes. Additional roles include UoB Men’s 1st XI hockey Physiotherapist and UoB Athletics and XC Physiotherapist, where Laura offers pitchside support and physiotherapy at BUCS events. Laura's contract work with England and Great Britain Hockey focuses on age group events. Previous experience includes school physiotherapist at Elmhurst Ballet School and various roles at Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust, where Laura specialized in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic care. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, both from the University of Birmingham.
