David Hutchful has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. David is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Yemaachi Biotech, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, David worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Ashesi University, starting in September 2017. David also served as an Advisor and Founding CTO at engageSPARK from November 2012. David has also worked as a Technology Advisor at Turbare from January 2020 to July 2022.

In addition, David has a background in entrepreneurship. David co-founded Bloom Impact P.B.C in January 2017 and served as the CTO. Bloom Impact created a marketplace that aimed to democratize how micro and small business owners find working capital and savings accounts. Before Bloom Impact, David worked as Director of Technology Innovation at Grameen Foundation from September 2013 to March 2017. During their time there, they played a key role in the organization's technology strategy, managed software development teams, and contributed to business development and program design.

David's earlier experiences include working as an Assistant Researcher at Microsoft Research India from September 2008 to January 2011 and as a Software Engineer at Gospel Communications International from June 2001 to August 2008. At Gospel Communications, they were responsible for designing the architecture and coding of BibleGateway.com.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in technology innovation and leadership, particularly in the fields of mHealth, mAgriculture, and Mobile Financial Services.
