Manufacturing Process Engineer at Enevate

Christopher Abbott has worked in the engineering field since 2014. Christopher began their career as a Chemical Engineer Co-op at Rochester Midland Corporation, where they were responsible for operating the Quality Control testing laboratory and conducting basic QC testing, titrations, and spectrophotometric analysis. In 2016, they worked as a Materials Engineer Co-op at Graphenix Development Inc. (GDI), where they formulated carbon based suspension slurries and researched the impact of diverse carbon formulations and their properties when implemented into supercapacitor prototypes. In 2017, they worked as a Materials Engineer II (Contract) at Corning Incorporated, where they conducted research on the reliability of cold forming adhesives and quality control on research samples. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Lionano as a Process Engineer I, where they established two pilot lines for the large scale manufacturing of next generation solid state Lithium ion battery pouch cells. Currently, Christopher Abbott is working as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Enevate Corporation.

Christopher Abbott attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in the field of Chemical Engineering.
